Job Summary

The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in securing high-quality materials, components, and fittings for large-scale commercial projects.

You will be responsible for finding reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory, and ensuring timely material availability to meet production requirements and quality standards.

  • Sources and evaluates suppliers to secure the best raw materials at competitive prices.
  • Maintains strong supplier relationships, negotiates favorable credit terms, and ensures accurate communication of pricing to stakeholders.
  • Creates and manages purchase orders in ERP systems, allocating them correctly to relevant general ledger codes.
  • Collaborates with Estimating, Project, and Accounts Teams on project schedules and finishes.
  • Supports the production team by maintaining an up-to-date materials library and sample boards.
  • E nsures accurate and compliant purchasing documentation and controls.
  • Contributes to project profitability through strategic purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing management including procurement planning, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Inventory management to ensure timely delivery and minimize stockouts.
  • Supplier relationship management to build long-term partnerships.
  • Compliance with purchasing policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
