Compliance Specialist Role

This position is focused on enhancing the compliance framework for participants in a securities exchange. The key objective is to identify potential areas of non-compliance with operating rules and ensure effective outcomes.

  • Manage relationships between the exchange and its participants related to monitoring and review programs.
  • Support the design, planning, and enhancement of ongoing monitoring and review initiatives.
  • Implement monitoring and review programs with participants, escalate concerns, and provide input for enhancements.
About the Job

The ideal candidate has extensive industry experience providing a deep understanding of financial products, including equities, bonds, and derivatives. A broad knowledge of operating rules covering all products is essential. Additionally, detailed knowledge and practical application of compliance and risk methodologies are required.

Requirements

A tertiary qualification in law, accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field is necessary. Critical thinking with an analytical approach and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
