About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at DuluxGroup's B&D business. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our site operates at peak performance.

The successful candidate will have a recognized mechanical trade qualification and be able to work independently, making quick decisions during emergency situations. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance tasks, identifying and troubleshooting plant equipment issues, and participating in site improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime
  • Identify and troubleshoot plant equipment issues, providing sustainable solutions and communicating with stakeholders
  • Participate in site improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Respond to breakdown situations to repair plant equipment as requested by management
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, notifications, and work activities
