Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Greater Western Water Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex sourcing events and providing procurement advice for lower value activities.
About the Role: As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring business needs are met and that GWW meets its regulatory compliance obligations and maintains financial viability. You will manage end-to-end procurement processes, provide subject matter expert advice, and lead complex sourcing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Procurement: Manage complex sourcing events, ensuring compliance with GWW Procurement Policy, VGPB guidelines, and Ministerial Directions.
- Procurement Advice: Provide procurement advice for lower value activities to business users and improve the self-service experience.
- Risk Management: Minimise risks by ensuring process compliance is maintained by all stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Thrive in a collaborative team environment, across multiple stakeholder groups.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement practices.
- Knowledge: Advanced sourcing knowledge to optimise business performance and mitigate risks.
- Communication: Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations to the internal audience.
- Skills: Strong influencing and negotiation skills, analytical expertise, and ability to think resourcefully.
