Job Title: Female Community Care Worker-Ballina
Job DescriptionWe offer personal care and support services to enable individuals to live independently in their homes.
- This role involves travelling between clients' homes, assisting with daily living tasks and providing person-centred care and support.
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, accompanying clients to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
- Performing work under the supervision of a Care Coordinator
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
- Smartphone with internet access
