AUMS is seeking an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to lead our operations at the Mana Complex in Burkina Faso. This key position offers a 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your career alongside experienced underground mining professionals in a safe, dynamic, and outcome-focused environment.

About the Role

">

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of shift workers and equipment at an underground mine site. You will ensure all workers on shift are trained and competent to perform their duties safely and productively.

You will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Leading and training national supervisors to a high level of proficiency.">
  • Conducting mining operations safely, promptly reporting safety issues to the Underground Manager.">
  • Meting operational targets.">
  • Managing, controlling, and supervising the working areas in compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations.">
  • Maintaining duty of care towards employees, subcontractors, and visitors.">
  • Organizing crews, rosters, and daily site operations.">
  • Conducting daily work planning and toolbox meetings.">
  • Submitting incident reports to the Site Manager.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Underground Shift Supervisor.">
  • Current Underground Shift Supervisor Ticket.">
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.">
  • Valid driver's license.">
