The role of Team Leader in our Select Division will involve collaborating closely with the Client Service Manager and Head of Select to oversee operational functions. You will empower team members to focus on client needs and drive sales for our insurance and financial services products. Your leadership will also involve coaching, developing, and managing team performance to achieve financial targets and execute the Select strategy effectively.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Achieving revenue and retention targets, acquiring new business, and maintaining strong client relationships through timely and accurate service.
  • Conducting performance reviews, implementing development plans, and ensuring effective onboarding and training of team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with documentation standards, managing debtor accounts, and leading strategic operational changes within the team.
  • Providing specialist advice in insurance and risk management, managing placements, claims, and renewals, and upholding industry compliance standards.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to delivering a positive experience for all clients. Ideally, you will possess experience in a similar role within the insurance or financial services industry, along with:

  • Tier 1 (Insurance Broking) qualification or willingness to complete.
  • Proven background in insurance or financial services, with a focus on team leadership.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving & decision-making.
  • Emotional intelligence & adaptability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capable of cultivating a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
