Dedicated Orthopedic Nurse Required

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team in an orthopedic theatre environment.
- Melbourne, VIC
- Full-Time | No Shift Work | Monday to Friday
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional to work alongside experienced surgeons and anaesthetists in a well-equipped, modern theatre setting. As a key member of the perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing expert support during orthopedic procedures, ensuring safe and efficient theatre flow and patient care.
Key Responsibilities :- Provide high-quality scrub / scout support for orthopedic procedures
- Ensure effective theatre management and patient safety protocols are maintained
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anaesthetists and recovery staff
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to aseptic technique and documentation standards
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and quality improvement initiatives
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in orthopedics within Australian Healthcare
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- A collaborative approach to teamwork and communication
- Commitment to ongoing learning and best practice principles
