Role Overview

A dedicated educator with strong leadership skills is sought to drive school strategic goals and enhance student outcomes.

The successful candidate will need to be a passionate teacher with expertise in literacy, numeracy development, and classroom management. The candidate will also need to be committed to supporting and developing staff, leading wellbeing initiatives, and promoting a safe learning environment.

We are looking for an exceptional educator who can empower teachers with effective scaffolding strategies to foster student growth and belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan in line with Department priorities.
  • To lead and manage curriculum and assessment programs, ensuring they meet the needs of all students.
  • To provide educational leadership and support to teachers, promoting professional learning and collaboration.
  • To develop and implement policies that promote a positive and inclusive learning culture.
Requirements
  • Suitable qualifications as a classroom teacher with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare with ability to design quality teaching programs.
  • Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to plan and manage resources effectively to support teaching and learning.
