Job Overview

The role of a Senior Data Specialist is to drive the development and maintenance of Information System initiatives across various departments. This entails collaborating with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in data quality, governance, and management.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess a strong foundation in data engineering, remediation, modelling, and analytics skills. Additionally, they should have experience with SQL Server and Microsoft SSIS, as well as a solid understanding of data management and governance principles.

  • Data Engineering and Remediation: Develop and maintain Information System initiatives to improve data quality and governance.
  • Data Modelling and Analytics: Utilize data engineering, remediation, and modelling skills to support organisational objectives.

Candidates with tertiary qualifications in health information management, business, computer science, or a related discipline will be highly regarded. Those with demonstrated equivalent experience in data management will also be considered.
