Speech Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes, and the local community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner. They will also use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.

  • Deliver speech pathology services to participants

  • Use standardized assessments to inform treatment plans

The Speech Pathologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to participants. They will also maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Requirements

To be considered suitable for this role, you will need:

  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience as a Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas. They will also have a genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
