Chief Systems Operations Executive

The Manager, Student Systems is a pivotal leadership position that drives outcomes across budgetary, reporting, and strategic requirements. This role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of user support resources.
Job Responsibilities- Lead a high-performing team to deliver frontline student systems support, overseeing day-to-day operations, and maintaining visibility of software releases, updates, and hotfixes.
- Manage complex projects relating to continuous improvement activities, infrastructure improvement, identified functional issues, and new system implementations.
- Coordinate user access management to student systems, ensuring only suitable users are given access in adherence to privacy and risk controls settings.
- A degree or postgraduate qualification from a recognized higher education institution with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and/or training.
- Strong technology platform fluency with a deep understanding of contemporary IT protocols and operating environments.
- High-level oral and written communication skills, including an ability to engage effectively with internal staff and interpret and communicate systems matters to a broader audience.
- Experience leading a team, developing people, and creating a highly engaged and skilled workforce to deliver outcomes in complex or demanding systems environments.
This is a full-time, ongoing role based in any of our Tasmanian campuses, offering a total remuneration package comprising base salary plus 17% superannuation.
