About the Role

Liverpool Hospital seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Record Control Manager to lead the current team.

This is an excellent opportunity for health information managers or equivalents to gain experience in record control and processing functions of the Clinical Information Department.

The Record Control Manager will deliver efficient and effective record management systems by planning, reviewing, evaluating, and implementing change to achieve organisational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train staff in record control and processing functions
  • Organise and manage record control functions of the Clinical Information Department
  • Roster staff and design and manage forms
  • Deliver an efficient and effective record management system
  • Plan, review, evaluate, and implement change to achieve organisational outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience with proven administrative and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of medical record systems
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workload
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • High-level computer skills with knowledge of patient administration systems and Microsoft Office
