Job Summary:

This role entails managing the release of health information, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. It involves handling various types of requests and providing customer-focused services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage releases for ongoing patient care, patient requests, third-party requests, subpoenas, police inquiries, child protection cases, deceased patient information processing, and coronial investigations
  • Offer an efficient, prompt, and customer-centric service experience
  • Maintain data integrity on the patient administration system (PAS) and Cerner Powerchart, focusing on patient and encounter combinations
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Health Administration, Health Law, or equivalent fields
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
