Research Nurse

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the coordination and running of various clinical trials and cohort studies being conducted by The Alfred Neurology Department. This includes headache and pain research trials. The coordinator will ensure optimal patient assessment, recruitment and retention as well as excellent data collection and management in accordance with Good Clinical Research Practice Standards and adherence to clinical trial protocols.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with the relevant Principal Investigator and Subinvestigators, submitting Health Human Research Ethics Committee Ethics (HREC) and Governance Submissions, budgets and progress reports. They will also liaise as necessary with the CRO Monitors and other relevant staff as required for the studies they are involved in.
