About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded retail leader to join our team in Hobart.

As a key member of our management team, you will lead, drive, develop and inspire your team to achieve overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading by example to set expectations across the team
  • Managing employee relations, including grievances and performance management
  • Training, mentoring and coaching team members to work towards goals and succession planning
  • Problem solving and providing solutions
  • Producing and analysing financial reports
  • Roster management and payroll approval
  • Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Proactive approach to loss prevention management
  • Working with the visual merchandising team to apply creative visions within the store
  • Demonstrating a duty of care to team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experienced retail management experience
  • Leadership, motivator and aspirational attributes
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and expectations
  • Adaptable and supportive approach
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
