We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Yorke & Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN). As a key member of our Patient Services Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless administrative operations and delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Summary
- Provisional registration of Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency activity.
- Accurate and timely processing of Outpatient and Emergency data.
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.
- Operating the switchboard for the Health Unit and Community Health.
- Filing and scanning of client information within medical case notes, ensuring data integrity.
- Collating medical case notes on the discharge of clients from the health service.
- Participating in a rotating team, being proficient in all aspects of Patient Services duties.
- Working autonomously on particular shifts while collaborating with team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide high-quality, confidential, customer-focused administrative support to clients, staff, and visitors at Clare Hospital.
- Data Management: Accurately and efficiently manage Outpatient and Emergency data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, staff, and visitors, using clear and concise language.
Requirements
- Strong Organisational Skills: Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, staff, and visitors.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Be able to work autonomously on particular shifts while collaborating with team members to achieve common goals.
- Data Entry and Medical Record Management: Have proficiency in data entry and familiarity with medical record management systems.
