Field Service Coordinator

This is a critical role within our organization, serving as the link between customers, field technicians, and service teams.


The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and experience working in the earthmoving or heavy equipment industry.


As a Field Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing work orders, coordinating job schedules, and ensuring every task runs smoothly, safely, and on time.


Additionally, you will be expected to develop and maintain long-term internal and external relationships, effectively communicate with various departments, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.


About the Role

A typical day in this position may include:

  • Booking and scheduling work in progress
  • Providing clear, accurate, and timely information about job progress
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and allocating jobs to our technicians
  • Managing invoices to ensure pricing and product/machine component details are clear
  • Effectively liaising with other departments to deliver effective solutions

About You

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term internal and external relationships
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Mechanical aptitude essential, with a background in earthmoving preferable
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Coordination experience within a similar industry
  • CAT dealer experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures
  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic preferred but not required
