About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Wine Connoisseur to join our team at Dan Murphy's. As a Wine Connoisseur, you will play a critical role in enabling customer discovery in the world of drinks, providing a concierge-style end-to-end experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create exceptional customer experiences by sharing your love and knowledge of wine in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Create engaging tasting events for your store.
  • Encourage loyalty by taking the customer on a journey of discovery through our range of wines and beverages through a customer-centric lens.
  • Proactively engage the store team to increase product knowledge, empowering the team with easy-to-reproduce skills to bring our range to life.
  • Balance sales targets with the customer journey to ensure the customer walks away as passionate as you are.

About You:

  • You are knowledgeable and confident in the world of wine.
  • You have proven experience in hospitality, sales, or retail.
  • You will have experience in a drinks-related role.
  • You will have coaching & facilitation experience (advantageous).
  • You will have WSET Level 3 or equivalent (advantageous).
  • You are available to work in peak trading hours, with part-time and full-time opportunities available.
