Job Description

The UXO Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe execution and delivery of projects. This involves leading diverse teams, managing subcontractors, and engaging with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, proposals, and schedules in accordance with client requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of UXO field operations, maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Manage project finances, track performance, and provide regular reporting.
  • Act as primary liaison for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure timely submission of all project documentation.
  • Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management or assistant project management, preferably within UXO, environmental, or technical sectors.
  • Familiarity with Australian Defence Force contracts is desirable.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
