Job Title: Insurance Risk ManagerPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage risk and resolve claims in the commercial casualty sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate resolutions while maintaining high-quality claim files.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into loss causes and coverage, including policy review and documentation gathering.
  • Handle complex injury and property damage claims, identifying exposures and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Triaged cases requiring large loss involvement, providing accurate assessments and negotiating efficient settlements.
  • Maintain meticulous claim file documentation and diaries, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience handling commercial liability claims, preferably with a Property and Casualty license or Independent Adjuster certification.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external parties.
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, applied in challenging situations to achieve fair outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of risk management principles, coverage concepts, and liability determination methodologies.
