About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to lead our Medical Records Administration Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring the efficient and effective management of medical records, and providing guidance and support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Medical Records Administration Department, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, including training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Coding Team to ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records.
  • Manage staff rostering and leave, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing disruptions to services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and patients.

Requirements:

  • High level of experience in medical records administration, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • High level of computer literacy, with experience in medical records systems and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
