Synergy Manager Position

The primary role of the Synergy Manager is to oversee and lead a team in delivering critical security services. This involves ensuring customer satisfaction across the account, leading a team of professionals, and coordinating with third-party partners. The manager will emphasize continuous improvement, innovation, and alignment with strategic security objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading SIEM and Microsoft Defender operations, including log ingestion, threat detection, CTI integration, and cyber event response.
  2. Managing the Security Operations team delivering Protect+ services, including Threat Intelligence, Threat Response, Threat Hunting, and Vulnerability Management.
  3. Managing Major Incident Management (MIM) processes for cyber-related incidents.
  4. Collaborating with alliance partners to deliver Vulnerability Management services, including detection, reporting, governance, and remediation prioritization.
  5. Coordinating Penetration Testing activities and ensuring actionable outcomes are integrated into security operations.
  6. Providing thought leadership and driving the implementation of SOC Uplift initiatives, including cyber-forensics and purple teaming capabilities.
  7. Defining and refining cybersecurity services in collaboration with stakeholders.
  8. Managing relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
  9. Encouraging open communication and collaboration within the SOC team and with other teams, sharing security insights and best practices.
  10. Leading, coaching, and developing the team to increase engagement and outcomes delivery.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience leading security operations teams in complex environments.
  • Strong background in SIEM technologies, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and alliance partners.
  • Success in delivering vulnerability management and penetration testing programs.
  • Experience in defining and implementing SOC capabilities and uplift initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Security-related certifications beneficial.
