Key Responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist

The primary role of our Occupational Therapist is to provide a smooth transition into our Graduate Program.

We offer a great onboarding experience, high-level supervision, and ongoing support to ensure our therapists feel confident and equipped to succeed in their roles.

You will have a dedicated buddy to help you settle in and fortnightly technical training to boost your clinical skills and confidence.

Your Role as an OT Grad
  • Help children achieve developmental milestones, such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through targeted interventions and activities.
  • Educate and involve parents, carers, and others to facilitate the development and learning of children, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
  • Support children with developmental delays in learning everyday tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, and feeding themselves, using evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Work with children with behavioural issues to maintain positive behaviours in all environments, utilising behaviour management strategies and techniques.
