Production Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
The Factory Hand is responsible for upholding the company's commitment to excellence while optimising operations. This role is best suited for an organised and detail-oriented individual.
Main Tasks:
- Factory Organisation:
- Forklift Operations: Ensure safe loading and unloading of trucks.
- Goods Inwards and Stock Processing Systems: Utilise and improve existing systems to streamline processes.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
- Raw Materials and Finished Products: Run the physical/logistical elements of the supply chain, with support from an Administration Officer.
- Inventory Levels: Monitor, manage and optimise inventory levels to meet demand.
- Supply Replenishment: Coordinate with the Administration Officer and Production team to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Quality Assurance:
- HACCP Food Safety Program: Comply with existing program requirements, including completion of regular paperwork.
- Quality Control Measures: Implement and manage measures to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Machinery and Equipment:
- Maintenance Schedules: Develop schedules to minimise downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Equipment Operation: Ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and increased output and efficiency.
- Initiatives: Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.
