Food Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled food production specialist to join our operations team. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of food production, including machine operation, packing, warehouse management, and logistics.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately completing production records and documentation, performing quality checks, batching and preparing ingredients, setting up production equipment, and manually packing products into cartons.

You will also assist with warehouse duties and adhere to food safety and GMP policies and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment through regular cleaning of the processing area and equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be willing to learn new skills, and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. They will also have strong attention to detail and be able to lift up to 25kg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately completing production records and documentation
  • Performing relevant quality checks
  • Batching and preparation of ingredients
  • Setting up production equipment and ensuring it is in good working order
  • Manual handling and lifting
  • Manually packing products into cartons
  • Assisting with warehouse duties
  • Adhering to food safety and GMP policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment
