**Job Description**

The Department of Education is seeking a Wellbeing Director to lead the development and implementation of state-wide initiatives that support students' wellbeing and mental health.

As a key member of the team, you will provide leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of priorities, ensuring alignment with the department's agenda for improvement in schools.

You will also provide high-level strategic advice to senior officers on issues relevant to supporting all students' wellbeing and mental health, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of divisional priorities.

Additionally, you will lead and manage team members and projects, establishing and cultivating effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders and clients.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- A track record of achieving high levels of productivity in complex environments.

- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to consult and negotiate persuasively on strategic policy issues.

- Strong understanding of factors influencing students' wellbeing and mental health, and best-practice approaches for implementing interventions in schools.
