Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a professional with exceptional expertise in regulatory compliance and best practices to join our team as a Transport Advisor. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various business units to provide expert guidance on Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation.

The ideal candidate will have experience gained in transport operations, compliance, or training, coupled with a thorough understanding of CoR legislation and its applications. A proven ability to deliver high-quality training and communicate complex compliance requirements to diverse audiences is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and monitor evolving CoR and HVNL legislation, ensuring seamless alignment with our safety management systems.
  • Develop and manage internal audit schedules, conducting in-depth audits and producing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Lead training needs analyses and coordinate the design and delivery of compliance programs, focusing on transport legislation and safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce digital platforms and integrated systems that enhance our transport governance framework.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in transport operations, compliance, or training, underpinned by a deep understanding of CoR legislation.
  • A strong track record of delivering high-quality training and communicating complex compliance requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with accreditation frameworks, particularly the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS), along with proficiency in MS Office and report writing.
