We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of OSHC Coordinator at Bowral Public School in NSW.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, planning and delivering daily quality activities for children, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, and building meaningful relationships with colleagues, families, and school leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the OSHC service, ensuring all aspects run efficiently and effectively.
  • Activity Planning: Develop and deliver engaging daily activities that cater to the needs and interests of children, promoting their social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, prioritizing the wellbeing and happiness of children at all times.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with colleagues, families, and school leaders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Certification: Possess a Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in children's services or equivalent, demonstrating a solid understanding of childcare principles and practices.
  • Clearance: Hold current Employee Working with Children's Checks, or be willing to obtain them upon appointment.
  • First Aid: Possess HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training, or be willing to complete it as a condition of employment.
  • Child Protection: Hold CHCPRT001 - Child Protection Certificate, or be willing to obtain it upon appointment.
