Mathematics Teacher Position

Bulli High School, a comprehensive coeducational high school in the Northern Illawarra, seeks an accomplished Mathematics Teacher to join their faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students from years 7-12.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a positive impact on the academic journey of our students. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be expected to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of all learners. Your passion for mathematics education, combined with your ability to inspire and motivate students, will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of mathematicians and problem-solvers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver differentiated mathematics programs for students from years 7-12
  • Monitor student progress and apply classroom management strategies to foster a culture of high expectations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum-aligned resources and assessments
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students on their mathematical understanding and skills
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Approval to teach mathematics (7-12)
  • Proven track record of effective teaching practices and student outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Evidence of highly developed classroom practice, including monitoring student progress and applying classroom management strategies
