
Compassionate Support Specialist

Become a valued team member as an experienced Personal Care Assistant. To qualify for this position, you must be available to work all shifts.
- Provide personal care and support to residents under the direction of the senior clinical team.
- Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required.
- Record observations on relevant assessment charts and document any exceptions to the care plan.
- Perform duties allocated by the RN/EN, including general ward tasks.
- A current National Police Certificate is required.

The Position
This role involves providing competent personal care to assist residents maintain independence and dignity. The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for supporting residents under the direction of the senior clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care services to support residents' daily living needs.
- Support residents during meal times.
- Maintain accurate records of observations and care plans.
- Collaborate with the EN/RN to complete tasks and achieve organisational goals.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate experience working in residential aged care.
- Display flexibility when allocating shifts.
- Satisfy legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening.
- Demonstrate ability to work throughout October, November, and December.
