We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Garden Maintenance Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, peaceful, and bountiful outdoor spaces. They will be responsible for ensuring the garden areas are safe and enjoyable for all community members, visiting agencies, staff, volunteers, and officers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are properly checked, used, and stored, with particular attention to ensuring they are maintained in safe working order at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience in plants, soils, seasonal maintenance, and small gardening projects.
  • Confident using and caring for gardening tools and equipment.
  • A level of fitness to undertake gardening activities, including digging and lifting soil.
  • Good communication skills, both listening to and conveying information, ideas, and suggestions.
Background Check Requirements:

This role requires a Police Check due to access to valuable equipment and unsupervised entry to secure areas. In some states, it may also require a Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People Check.
