Migration Professional

We are seeking an experienced Migration Professional to provide expert advice and support to international students and migrants.

  • Provide tailored guidance on visa options, eligibility, and compliance, managing client expectations effectively.
  • Design and execute comprehensive migration strategies for individual and corporate clients, ensuring sound commercial and legal solutions.
  • Manage client casework and deliver high-quality representation to relevant authorities.
  • Prepare and lodge visa applications, handle tribunal appearances, and manage all migration work with competence and diligence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and authorities, driving business growth and enhancing the firm's reputation.
  • Stay current on migration law, policy, and industry trends, sharing insights with the team.
  • Comply with professional codes of conduct and risk management practices.
  • Lead and mentor junior professionals.
  • Participate in industry initiatives to grow the work pipeline and expand strategic partnerships.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified professional with at least 2-3 years of experience in immigration law, preferably with hands-on experience using client management systems.
  • Proven expertise across various visa subclasses and the tribunal process, ideally managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with experience supervising junior staff.
  • Solid understanding of immigration legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with diverse clients from different backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with client management systems.
