Are you an electrical engineering professional looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning? We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our QLD Industrial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial projects, from light industrial to heavy industrial, and contribute to shaping the future of our region. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution and motor control systems
  • Prior experience with process plants or bulk materials handling systems
  • A fundamental knowledge of key Australian Standards
  • Experience with power systems software preferred
  • Experience in instrumentation systems
  • Understanding of functional safety principles preferred

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
  • A minimum of 10 years' post graduate experience working on industrial projects
  • Obtained your Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in the Electrical discipline
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
