About Family Violence Remote Hearing Support
The role is part of a state-wide initiative to improve access to justice for affected family members.
As a specialist in family violence, you will work with affected family members to ensure their safety and provide support throughout the court process.
This includes assessing immediate safety risks, developing safety plans and providing appropriate referrals.
You will also play a key role in building relationships with local community and justice sector agencies to help ensure safe and supported pathways for affected family members to access the justice system and services to support ongoing safety and recovery from family violence.
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, social sciences or other related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing non-legal information and support to affected family members
- Assessing immediate safety risks and developing safety plans
- Providing appropriate referrals internally and externally
- Building relationships with local community and justice sector agencies
About You:
We are seeking passionate and experienced specialists in family violence committed to improving affected family members' safety, service experience and access to the justice system.
