Job Description\

As a senior development manager, you will be responsible for overseeing renewable energy projects from inception to final investment decision. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a leading Australian-owned renewable energy developer.

  • Lead projects through the full development lifecycle, from origination to final investment decision\
  • Identify and secure new project opportunities, including land and approvals\
  • Manage due diligence, planning, and environmental assessments in New South Wales and Queensland\
  • Collaborate with grid specialists, AEMO, and NSPs on connection feasibility and applications\
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement and community consultation\
  • Support investment decisions with feasibility studies and risk assessments
\Required Skills and Qualifications\

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in renewable energy or related project development\
  • Strong knowledge of environmental planning and regulatory approvals in NSW/QLD\
  • Experience managing land agreements, feasibility, and due diligence processes\
  • Understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and grid connection pathways\
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills\
  • A passion for renewable energy and sustainability
