About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Data Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to enhancing data-driven decision-making within the agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse and complex internal and external sources.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical mastery and strategic thinking, thriving in a dynamic and highly secure environment. They will be a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous approach to data, capable of transforming complex requirements into innovative and robust power platform solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing automated data pipelines and data models leveraging off strong analytical acumen.
  • Developing and deploying interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will require demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and End-to-End Data solutions, as well as experience with cloud data platforms and advanced scripting for data transformation.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in database development, automation and implementation.
  • Advanced visualisation and report writing skills in PowerBI, PowerApps, Microsoft Forms and SQL server reporting services.
  • Effective data management and visualisation skills enabling the construction of a compelling story tailored to a variety of audiences.
