Curtin University is seeking an accomplished Academic Leader to join our Medical Radiation Science program. This role is a vital part of ensuring the delivery of essential curriculum areas and the education of capable, confident graduates who contribute to healthcare.

This academic appointment supports Curtin's Medical Radiation Science program and offers opportunities for teaching and research in a collaborative environment. You will have access to professional development, industry-standard technology platforms, and collaborative projects within a supportive community.

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Medical Radiation Physics and Instrumentation units, ensuring students gain strong theoretical foundations and practical, industry-relevant skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and innovation, aligning with accreditation requirements and evolving industry needs.
  • Undertake independent and collaborative research aligned with the School's strategic priorities and contribute to growth of knowledge in Medical Radiation Science.
  • Mentor and inspire students throughout their academic and clinical journey.

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral qualification in a relevant field, expertise in teaching medical physics and/or medical radiation instrumentation, and a proven track record of impactful research and publication. They should also exhibit strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with students, peers, and industry.

This is a part-time position (0.8FTE) with flexible workdays and excellent leave entitlements. Permanent work rights in Australia are required, and successful applicants are subject to National Police Clearance and background checks.
