Logistics Coordinator Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate operations across all shifts, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote and ensure 'on time and in full' service for customer needs.
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions for supply issues.
  • Facilitate efficient communication across shifts.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning.
  • Manage labor, including casual staff, to ensure appropriate workforce levels.
  • Proactively manage performance and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Lead toolbox talks and staff meetings to promote active communication and training.
  • Maintain and complete standard reports and records at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure all orders are accurately picked, loaded, and dispatched on time.
  • Manage stock rotation supporting FIFO product flow.
  • Perform daily checks of codes and stock receipting within designated timeframes.
  • Monitor and control cold room temperatures to meet Lactalis standards.
  • Assist in operating within budgetary guidelines.
  • Coordinate quality checks including GMP, processes, procedures, and paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Support operators across different shifts as needed.
  • Follow all quality and safety policies at all times.
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead our logistics team with expertise in FMCG distribution and cold room management. The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making and planning skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
