Job Description:

Develop your career as a skilled Senior Software Engineer with our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of software systems, troubleshooting faults in SCADA verticals and products, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve complex software issues
  • Accurately document activities and findings
  • Contribute to digital self-help materials promoting faster problem resolution
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other support centers and departments

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Application Support within an ASX top 100 business
  • Proficiency working with software architecture, software unit testing, and SDLC
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Working understanding of software and automation hardware communications and setup

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with AVEVA System Platform and Plant SCADA or GEO SCADA
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of windows operating system, networking concepts, and security
  • Knowledge of general windows operating system tools and commands that help with diagnosing and troubleshooting software
  • Quick thinking, self-motivated, and inspired action
