Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Programmer Estimator to join our team at GFG-Alliance. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing machine programs and processing instructions for our processing machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate CNC programs from drawings, plans, or data files for processing equipment.
- Generate estimates and quotations for processed goods in line with pricing policy.
- Follow up on quotations with customers within business guidelines.
- Engage and assist the sales team in fulfilling customer processed steel requirements.
- Key orders and data entry.
Requirements
- Demonstrated and relevant work experience, preferably within the Steel Industry or related industry.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills appropriate to all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SAP, Fast Cam, Peddimat, CRM systems, AutoCAD, or similar highly regarded.
