Middle School Electives Instructor

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our middle school team as an Elective Teacher.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet or exceed Missouri Learning Standards Grade-Level Expectations. The position requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to creating an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to adapt lesson plans to cater to diverse student needs, including English language learners and students with special requirements.
- Develop and implement curricula that align with state standards and foster academic excellence.
- Sustain a positive, productive classroom atmosphere that promotes social-emotional growth and encourages active participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas of strength and providing targeted support where needed.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess excellent communication skills, experience working with diverse populations, and a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) with relevant certification. A strong understanding of constructivist learning theory and project-based education is also desirable.
