Business and Industry Engagement Officer Job Opportunity

The CIT Industry Engagement Unit is seeking two highly motivated individuals to join their team as Business and Industry Engagement Officers. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across the institute to design and implement vocational education and training programs.

As a Business and Industry Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with industry partners, developing and coordinating projects that enhance workforce development and economic growth in the Canberra region.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Engaging with industry stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and project development
  • Designing and coordinating vocational education and training programs that meet industry needs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business engagement strategies

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or a related field, or significant experience in a relevant industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with industry partners and internal stakeholders
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
