We are currently recruiting for various locations, including Balmain, Glebe, Ultimo, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Paddington, Leichhardt, and surrounding areas.

What We Offer:

  • Permanent part-time contracts available, depending on your location and availability to work
  • Earn an hourly rate of $31.74 to $32.56 per hour, plus 11.5% super
  • Travel allowance of $0.92 per KM, plus paid travel time
  • Stable roster and opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs
  • Smartphone and uniform provided
  • Fully supported and paid induction program
  • Opportunity to become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care), all fees paid (for eligible employees)

Your New Role:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Offer personal care, including assistance with hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and mealtime support
  • Build relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff

Key Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar industry and/or a Certification in Care
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
  • All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses

  • Proficiency in an additional language, such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic, Lebanese, or Greek, is valued but not mandatory

We welcome applicants with experience and/or a qualification as a Disability Support Worker, Assistant in Nursing (AIN), Community Services worker, or Bachelor of Nursing Students.
