Operations Support Officer

Sugar Australia has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Officer to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity, based at our Glebe, NSW site. Reporting to the Production and Planning Manager, this role will play a crucial part in providing administrative and operational support to our Glebe facility.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinating the maintenance management system in SAP, including work orders and compliance.
- Overseeing daily transport plans and dispatching of bulk and palletised loads.
- Maintaining and ordering maintenance parts, PPE, and office supplies as needed.
- Processing financial transactions including invoicing, payment reconciliation and analysis.
- Ensuring proper filing of documentation and managing weekly paperwork replenishment.
- Performing general record management and clerical tasks as required.
- Supporting day-to-day activities in inventory, freight and warehouse management.
- Managing contractor service schedules and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Building strong relationships across the business and addressing queries promptly.

This role is perfect for a self-starter with exceptional organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and attention to detail.
- Experience in office administration.
- Background in supply chain administration (warehousing, logistics, planning, accounts payable, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SAP is desirable.
- Adaptability to changing situations and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- A collaborative approach and a positive attitude.
