Join Our Team as a Food Service Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Service Assistant to join our team at Regis Wynnum. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and high-quality catering support services to our residents.

About the Role
  • Previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety is a must.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately and to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work as a team member, prioritise and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.
  • Digital literacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up each serving and dining area ready for each meal period in line with Regis standards.
  • Setting up trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
  • Washing dishes and cleaning according to the Food Safety Program.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
  • Assist with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan.
