This role involves working closely with our existing Business Development Manager to expand our business and develop new marketing initiatives. As a Strategic Account Manager - Healthcare, you will be responsible for client acquisition and strategy development, business expansion, stakeholder engagement, representation at events, and lead business development.
You will bring in new NDIS participants and develop the local business development and relationship management strategy for our organization. You will also collaborate with our current Business Development Manager to expand our business and oversee new marketing initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need 5-7 years of experience in Business Development or Relationship Management within the SDA industry or a similar field in NDIS. You will also require a passion for working in a purpose-led organization and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Apart from your technical skills, you should have strong leadership abilities and be able to effectively build rapport and relationships. Lead generation is another key aspect of this role, including cold calling, online outbound prospecting, building sales campaigns, and successful appointment setting.
In this role, you will work alongside two other peers in Melbourne as well as a larger team in SA and NSW. You will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for staying abreast of market changes and developing and maintaining knowledge of operational trends and NDIS policy changes.
