About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team as a technical advisor to our sales team and a key advocate for our customers in the field.

As a Pre-sales Sr. Solutions Architect, you will guide the technical evaluation phase in a hands-on environment throughout the sales process, working closely with our product team to ensure our customers achieve tangible data-driven outcomes through the use of our Data Intelligence Platform.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing architectures within public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP), leveraging your expertise in Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Hadoop, Cassandra, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement architectures within public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications
  • Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate and adopt Databricks
  • Engage with the technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups
  • Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide technical and business value

Requirements:

  • Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across a variety of industry markets
  • Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role with a core strength in Data Engineering and Cloud Architecture
  • Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding
  • Fluent coding experience in Python or Scala implementing Apache Spark, Java
  • Experience with Data Science and related technologies (R and various algorithms) a plus
