We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated legal professional to join our team as a Senior Lawyer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing applications for grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, drafting estate planning documents, and performing administrative duties. They will also work closely with the Head of Legal and senior lawyers to develop and implement effective strategies for managing probate and letters of administration matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A strong understanding of Australian probate and estates law, including knowledge of PEXA and the Supreme Court RedCrest Probate system;
  • Substantial experience in wills and estates, with a proven track record of success;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances, with a positive and flexible attitude;
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a relevant field.
