Injury Management Director

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our injury management strategy, driving positive change in workplace health and wellbeing. The Injury Management Director will lead impactful reform in a high-profile role that supports our people who enable Queensland's learners.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster and execute the department's injury management vision, policies, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee the design and delivery of proactive intervention, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs, including psychological and psychiatric injury management.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team overseeing injury prevention and claims management practices across the department.
- Ensure complex and high-risk cases are handled with best-practice case management, high-quality outcomes, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Proven leadership experience in health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Expertise in workers' compensation claims management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and teams.
